Billy Rice International has been recognized with The Future Of Wellness Pioneer Award for its transformative approach to health and longevity. Founded by Billy Rice at age 60, the organization has demonstrated exceptional impact in helping individuals overcome chronic diseases through a comprehensive wellness system.
Rice’s personal journey serves as the foundation for his work. A graduate of William Penn Charter, University of Delaware, and Howard University School of Law, he spent years as an executive for major banks while maintaining what he believed was a healthy lifestyle as a high-level performing athlete. However, between ages 49 and 57, Rice faced a critical health crisis when he was diagnosed with five of the top chronic diseases affecting Americans: heart disease, stroke, prostate cancer, diabetes, and obesity.
During this period of illness and despair, Rice created the My Power 60 System, a transformational wellness program that focuses on five essential areas: nutrition through a whole food, plant-based lifestyle; flexibility exercises to prevent injuries; exercise routines designed to boost energy; stress management principles; and finding personal joy while enhancing the lives of others. The system helped Rice lose 55 pounds, reverse his chronic diseases, and regain his vitality. Now 64, he reports looking and feeling younger than he did in his fifties.
The impact of Rice’s work extends beyond personal transformation. He teaches a five-week seminar course titled “Great Health is the New Wealth” at Temple University and has been featured in Health Monitor Magazine. His book, “My Power 60 System: The 5 Essentials For Living A Happy, Healthy and Vibrant Life,” provides individuals with a personalized blueprint for achieving their health goals.
Rice emphasizes that his mission goes beyond individual wellness. Through the My Power 60 Apparel Brand, which donates 25 percent of profits to community and youth programs, he works to uplift communities while spreading messages of positivity and inspiration. His approach to health and wellness transformation targets individuals aged 40 and over, many of whom face similar chronic health challenges.
Looking ahead, Rice has ambitious goals including becoming a national and international motivational speaker, delivering a TEDx Talk, and building a multi-million dollar brand while continuing to give back to youth programs. His philosophy centers on applied knowledge rather than theoretical understanding. Rice states that he shares his transformation not to impress, but to impress upon others that there is nothing they cannot achieve with the right knowledge and actions. He believes society stands on the cusp of what could be a seismic revolution in health, wellness, and happiness.
