Carl Jackson Studios has unveiled plans for a major European expansion, establishing production offices in London and securing satellite deals across France and Germany as the film company prepares to launch three high-profile releases targeting global audiences.
The expansion represents a significant strategic shift for the American film production company, which has built its reputation through genre-blending narratives and character-driven storytelling. The European division will function as both a production and distribution hub, positioning the studio to tap into international markets with a slate of films designed to showcase its signature approach to cinema.
Leading the European rollout is Arthur and Bree, a romantic drama starring Natasha Tosini, recognized for her role in Winnie the Pooh. The film, which explores themes of class division and personal redemption through the story of two lovers in a fractured society, was shot across multiple countries and will receive both theatrical and streaming distribution worldwide. The production marks the first release under the studio’s new global banner.
Carl Jackson Studios has selected Virtual Time as its second major European release, featuring company founder Carl Jackson in his first action role. The science fiction thriller examines themes of time manipulation and digital reality collapse, with production scheduled across Berlin, Prague, and Lisbon. Industry observers have drawn comparisons to The Matrix and Inception, though the film promises Jackson’s distinctive philosophical approach to the genre.
The trilogy of releases concludes with LAX 3: Holiday in New York, the final installment in the LAX franchise. Starring Andrea McClew alongside Jackson, the film explores redemption and surveillance themes against New York’s backdrop. The production represents the culmination of what critics have described as “one of the most emotionally authentic urban trilogies in recent memory.”
“Europe isn’t just a market—it’s a creative frontier,” said Carl Jackson in a recent statement. “This expansion is about storytelling without borders, where diverse voices and bold ideas come together to entertain and inspire the world.”
The European expansion builds on the studio’s established track record in the American market. Founded in 2002 as Carl Jackson Entertainment LLC, the company has produced numerous projects including Southern Girls, featuring music by Phil Keaggy, and Blissful Lies with Emmy Award-winning Leann Hunley. The studio’s recent releases include Love Solutions and Carl Jackson’s LAX 2 Paris, both of which debuted at number two on Apple TV and iTunes charts.
The company’s distribution strategy has evolved significantly since 2012, when Jackson established his own distribution arm following creative differences with Bridgestone Multimedia Group. The studio subsequently secured a six-year digital distribution licensing deal with FOX’s Tubi in 2018 and entered a multi-year, 10-picture agreement with Buffalo 8/Bondit Media Capital in 2022. A global streaming pact with Fawesome followed in 2023.
Looking beyond the European trilogy, Carl Jackson Studios has outlined an aggressive production schedule through 2030. The slate includes P31 starring Alexis Andrews, scheduled for theatrical release on September 4, 2026, and Deadbeat: From Daddy to Rachel. The 2027 lineup features The Wedding with Brazilian star Amanda de Godoi, Gate 17, and The Well. Future releases include The Alpha Male Chronicles in 2028, The Exceptional Santa Claus in 2029, and Virtual Time: Heaven and Hell in 2030.
The studio’s approach differs from traditional Hollywood models by emphasizing creative autonomy and international cooperation over bureaucratic structures. With permanent offices now established in London and production partnerships secured across major European cities, the company aims to create content that resonates with diverse global audiences while maintaining its commitment to character-driven storytelling.
The European expansion represents more than geographic growth for Carl Jackson Studios. By establishing production capabilities across the continent and developing films that span multiple countries, the company positions itself to capture emerging international markets while maintaining the creative vision that has defined its American productions. As the studio prepares to release its inaugural European slate, the move signals a new chapter in film production that prioritizes global storytelling without sacrificing artistic integrity.
