Most people who’ve used a wet/dry vacuum know the drill: you’re cleaning up a mess, hit something wet, and have to stop everything to swap out the filter. It’s annoying, messy, and exactly the kind of friction that makes people avoid using the tool in the first place. Cleva North America thinks it has a better way.
This May 2026, the company behind brands like Vacmaster, LawnMaster and sole licensed manufacturer of Armor All brand Wet/Dry Vacs is launching The Beast Series, a line of high-performance wet/dry vacuum systems built around a proprietary feature called FLT+ Filter Lift Technology. The innovation is straightforward: users can vacuum wet and dry messes with the same filter, no swapping required. For anyone who’s ever cleaned a garage, detailed a car, or dealt with a basement flood, that’s a meaningful shift.
“It’s about removing the barriers that slow people down,” explains the company CEO Alain Duque. The Beast Series features a 6.5 Peak HP motor, increased tank capacity, and continuous suction. There’s also a self-cleaning filter system with an LED display that shows when maintenance is needed, plus extended hose reach and the ability to convert into a blower without tools.

Engineering Background Meets Market Strategy
Cleva has spent more than two decades focused on motor technology and product engineering. Unlike brands that license their name to third-party manufacturers, Cleva handles design and production in-house, applying the same engineering standards across its portfolio. That portfolio includes both proprietary brands like Vacmaster and licensed names like Kenmore and Armor All, giving the company reach across consumer and professional markets.
The strategy is deliberate: deliver performance comparable to premium brands, but at a lower price point. It’s a model that appeals to homeowners who want reliable tools without overpaying, as well as contractors and commercial users who need equipment that can handle daily abuse. Pet owners, allergy-conscious households, and DIY car detailers also make up a significant portion of Cleva’s customer base.

What’s Next for the Company
Over the next few years, Cleva plans to expand both its product lineup and its geographic footprint. The focus will remain on motor performance and multi-functional cleaning tools, with an emphasis on retail, e-commerce, and international distribution channels. The company is also exploring additional licensed partnerships to broaden its brand presence without diluting quality standards.
The Beast Series launch represents a test of that approach: can a company known for value-driven products also lead on innovation? Early indicators suggest there’s demand. The wet/dry vacuum category has historically been split between cheap consumer models that break easily and expensive professional gear that most people don’t need. Cleva is betting there’s a sizable middle ground.
For now, the company’s pitch is simple: better tools, fair pricing, and features that solve actual problems. Whether that resonates will depend on how well The Beast performs in real-world use, but the engineering foundation and portfolio of trusted cleaning brands suggest Cleva knows what it’s doing.
