Award-winning film composer Kelvin Galloza is set to create the musical score for the upcoming feature-length horror fan film “Jason Voorhees: Nightmares,” with production scheduled to begin in summer 2025. This project further establishes Galloza’s growing reputation in horror fan cinema, building on his previous work in the genre.
Galloza, who operates through his boutique studio Lunarscape Audio, has built an impressive portfolio spanning over a decade in the entertainment industry. His signature compositional style blends traditional orchestral elements with contemporary textures to create emotionally resonant soundscapes that enhance storytelling across various media formats.

The composer’s professional credits include contributions to major Hollywood productions such as “Spider-Man: Far From Home,” “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader,” and “The Current War.” In the independent film sector, Galloza has created original scores for projects including “Classroom 6,” “Sin Regreso,” and “The Outrider,” where his work has been recognized for its atmospheric depth.
His experience in horror-themed productions includes composing and producing music for the short film “Jason Voorhees: The Hunt,” which was part of “The Horrorverse” anthology. This background makes him particularly well-suited for the upcoming “Nightmares” project, which will expand on the iconic horror franchise’s universe.
