Studio Lot Inc. and Road 7 Films have premiered their latest television production, “Spilled Paint,” a suspenseful drama series now streaming on TUBI. The Orlando-based production companies have crafted a thriller that explores the dangerous intersection of art, crime, and deception.
Drawing inspiration from true events, the series follows the story of Ramirez Ponce, a powerful figure who controls an underground network of art forgery. The character, portrayed by Brandon Gibson of “Lessons in Chemistry” and “Cobra Kai,” orchestrates a criminal enterprise that forces talented artists to create counterfeit masterpieces. These fraudulent works are then sold to wealthy collectors, generating substantial profits while the artists themselves meet tragic ends to protect the operation’s secrecy.
The plot takes a dramatic turn when an artist previously believed dead resurfaces, threatening to expose the entire criminal network. This unexpected development sets the stage for a complex narrative that examines themes of power, corruption, and survival within the art world.

The production features an accomplished cast including Justine Renee from Lifetime Movie Network and ABC as Helena Natale, alongside Daytime Emmy nominated Anthony Montgomery of “General Hospital” and “Star Trek: Enterprise.” The ensemble also includes Jensen Atwood from “Noah’s Arc” and “Their Eyes Were Watching God,” and Steven Rho of Paramount+’s “The Game” in the role of Daniel Montrose.
Brandon Gibson and Jon Kohan crafted the screenplay, developing an intricate plot designed to maintain suspense throughout the series.
