A new voice has emerged in the spiritual podcast landscape, offering what its creator describes as “a sanctuary made of sound and spirit.” Kenneth Phair, founder of Latter Day Faith, has launched a weekly podcast aimed at providing a space for spiritual exploration and personal transformation.
The podcast, which releases new episodes every Sunday, features solo reflections from Phair that draw from his personal faith journey and life experiences. According to Phair, the podcast was created as an offering for those who feel lost, unseen, or uncertain if they belong.
“I ask people what they see when they look at me,” Phair shares. “Do they see a former addict, a criminal, a man who wrecked everything good in his life? Or do they see who I’ve become? Because I was all of those things—but I am also a man saved by the grace of God.”
Phair’s path to podcast creation was anything but conventional. Born into chaos and adopted at 18 months old, he experienced a troubled youth that included gang involvement in California and decades of substance abuse. His journey was marked by significant hardship, including being expelled from college due to homelessness.
“I was being chased by demons in a dream,” Phair recounts of a pivotal moment in his life. “Right when they were about to consume me, I cried out to my Heavenly Father. A light broke through, and a hand reached down. It was my father—the one I had a broken relationship with—who said, ‘Everything will be alright.’ That dream changed everything.”
Following this spiritual awakening, Phair was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He now serves as a Primary teacher in the Sunset Heights 5th Ward in Orem, Utah, where he lives with his wife, Dr. Sarah Phair, and their daughter. The family is scheduled to be sealed in the Orem Utah Temple on May 1, 2025.
While some episodes speak directly to the Latter-day Saint experience, the podcast aims to offer universal spiritual insights meant for people of all faith backgrounds—or none at all.
“This is not a podcast that tells you what to believe,” Phair explains. “It’s a space for transformation, for healing, for remembering who you really are.”
Topics covered in the podcast include spiritual healing, scripture discussion, emotional growth, and faith in Jesus Christ. Each episode is crafted with the intention of reaching those who feel overlooked, unworthy, or forgotten by God.
“This isn’t about building a brand,” says Phair. “It’s about building trust with people who feel like they’ve been spiritually abandoned. If God could reach into the darkness and pull me out, then He can do the same for anyone listening.”
The podcast is released ad-free, with optional subscription tiers starting at $2.50 per month for those who wish to access bonus content through the support page.
For Phair, the heart of Latter Day Faith is simple: “No one is too far gone. No soul is invisible to God. Redemption is not only possible—it’s promised.”
