1. Hemant, it’s a privilege to feature you. To begin, could you share your professional journey and what led you to become a recognized leader in AI and telecom innovation?
Thank you, it’s an honor to be featured. My career started in telecom operations at Vodafone, where I spearheaded BSS/OSS transformation initiatives. I subsequently moved into strategic positions at Evalueserve and Capgemini, concentrating on digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and platform innovation. What motivates me is tackling complex, enterprise scale challenges in the TMT sector that affect millions of users. My professional focus has shifted from network optimization to designing GenAI enabled platforms that transform customer engagement and operational performance.
2. Every path to excellence has its challenges. What were some of the key obstacles you faced, and how did you overcome them to reach this level of impact in your career?

A significant challenge I’ve tackled throughout my career involves fostering innovation within the intensely competitive and traditionally cautious U.S. telecom landscape. Implementing AI adoption at enterprise level demanded both technical proof of concept and organizational change management. I addressed this by connecting platform innovation with quantifiable business results, creating a data driven automated order to cash solution that boosted sales conversion rates, accelerated time to market, and facilitated guided selling through integrated decisioning intelligence. I also developed the DICE framework to decrease marketing operational expenses and enhance campaign accuracy. These achievements demonstrate my expertise in delivering enterprise platforms that have shaped digital strategy throughout the U.S. telecom and media industries.
3. Let’s talk about your contributions. What are the most significant innovations or platforms you’ve developed, and how have they influenced the telecom and media industries?
I’ve spearheaded the creation of multiple transformative platforms that have propelled innovation within telecom and media sectors. A pivotal project involved an AI driven order to cash automation system that enhanced sales velocity, shortened market entry timelines, and integrated decisioning capabilities for guided selling, converting traditional systems into agile revenue generators. I also designed a metaverse enabled SaaS solution to revolutionize immersive business engagement. Furthermore, I developed DICE (Data Integrated Campaign Enablement), a specialized framework that minimizes marketing operational expenses through smart automation. These breakthroughs represent substantial original contributions, showcasing my expertise in driving enterprise evolution across international markets.
4. Mentorship and professional networks often play a vital role in shaping careers. What advice would you offer to emerging professionals seeking to build influence and credibility in the tech space?
With a career rooted in driving innovation across telecom, AI, and enterprise product strategy, I’ve consistently delivered original, scalable solutions that have influenced industry standards and enhanced customer experience. My mentorship involvement through programs such as CBE’s Launch Incubator For Traction (CBE LIFT) with TiE Atlanta, which prepares diverse Atlanta based founders for investor readiness, demonstrates a dedication to ecosystem growth and inclusive innovation. The program supports my vision to establish Atlanta among the leading five metropolitan technology entrepreneurship centers, embracing founders from varied backgrounds. Through university speaking invitations, thought leadership publications, and active engagement with professional organizations like IEEE, I’ve cultivated influence by promoting interdisciplinary advancement and developing emerging leaders. Credibility, from my perspective, develops through sustained impact, acknowledged leadership, and a proven history of contributions that catalyze transformation throughout the technology sector.
5. Can you describe how you first entered the technology field and what pivotal moments helped you establish yourself as an expert in AI and enterprise transformation?
I started my career in engineering and rapidly evolved into systems thinking and enterprise architecture. A pivotal experience involved spearheading an order to cash transformation project, where I incorporated automation and decision support capabilities into existing systems, requiring both strategic vision and technical expertise. This undertaking influenced my methodology for scalable innovation and resulted in creating DICE, a specialized framework built to optimize decision intelligence and campaign implementation.
6. What is your current role at Capgemini, and how does it reflect your leadership in driving strategic innovation across global telecom and media clients?
I lead product development and strategic advisory for the Telecom, Media, and Technology sector, overseeing AI-powered platforms that are essential to enterprise transformation. These platforms drive infrastructure modernization and customer experience innovation for global clients. My role involves high-level decision-making, cross-functional leadership, and delivering original solutions that shape industry practices. Through this work, I’ve consistently demonstrated sustained impact and strategic influence across the telecom and media landscape.
7. As someone at the forefront of emerging technologies, which trends are you currently monitoring, and how do you foresee them shaping the future of enterprise AI and digital transformation?
As someone actively involved in enterprise innovation, I closely track the intersection of Generative AI, immersive media, and autonomous systems, especially within the telecommunications industry. GenAI is revolutionizing business processes by facilitating intelligent automation and contextual decision making at enterprise scale. Immersive technologies are transforming user interaction across digital environments, while autonomous systems are restructuring network operations through predictive, self correcting functionalities. These technologies represent more than professional interests; they constitute areas where I’ve made active contributions via thought leadership, conference presentations, and strategic deployments. Their integration drives the development of intelligent, adaptive business ecosystems, and I view them as fundamental to the upcoming phase of digital evolution.
