The acquisition strengthens Hokenson Group’s position in the digital media landscape and brings FlashFeed’s advanced artificial intelligence technology into the company’s growing portfolio of media properties.
FlashFeed, founded by Shashank Imarati, developed machine learning-driven technology to intelligently curate and summarize news stories into concise formats designed for modern consumption. The platform quickly gained traction among busy professionals looking for efficient ways to stay informed without information overload. By combining text and audio summaries, FlashFeed appealed to both readers and listeners who wanted efficient, time-saving news delivery.

The technology will enhance content delivery, improve user engagement, and provide sophisticated news segmentation capabilities that adapt to audience needs. FlashFeed will no longer operate as a standalone App, but its proprietary personalization technology and features will be rolled out across Hokenson Group’s media properties in the coming months.

The acquisition, which closed on October 15, 2025, was formally announced today. Financial terms were not disclosed. Shashank will support Hokenson Group in an advisory capacity during the transition.
