Film enthusiasts in East Central Florida have a compelling reason to venture beyond their streaming services this weekend as the 4th Annual Reel Deal Film Festival transforms Daytona Beach’s trendy Beach Street into a celebration of independent cinema from April 11-13.
The three-day event, running alongside The Daytona Beach Arts Fest 2025, invites audiences to “sign out of your streaming platform and head to Daytona Beach’s trendy Beach St.” for a refreshing alternative to mainstream entertainment. The festival will be hosted at the Cinematique Theater, located at 242 Beach St., where attendees can enjoy the screenings in the venue’s distinctive wine café viewing environment.
Festival organizers have assembled a panel of professional judges to curate a selection of thought-provoking and visually interesting indie films from around the world. The program also highlights “awesome selects from our own Florida collegiate filmmakers,” offering what the festival describes as “unique narratives” that provide “a nice break from Netflix.”

A standout feature of the weekend is the Saturday Night Director’s Showcase Best of Fest on April 12 at 6:00 PM, which festival organizers emphasize is “not to be missed.” The remainder of the programming is structured into film blocks throughout the weekend, with screenings scheduled for April 11 (10:00 AM), April 12 (11:30 AM, 1:30 PM), and April 13 (1:00 PM, 3:00 PM). and all-access passes are priced at just $15.00.
The April 12 11:30 Screening is notably marked “All Ages, the remainder would be recommended high school age and above.”
Ticket sales support a worthy cause, as attendance directly funds the Youth Outreach programs of The Reel Film Foundation.
