His dedication earned him eleven Associated Press awards and the title of Photojournalist of the Year in 2004. After transitioning from photojournalist to the station’s Promotions and Marketing Department, Jorgenson began freelance production work that eventually evolved into his own business venture. The company’s name honors Principal Leo Cancellare from Cathedral High School, whose mentorship profoundly shaped Jorgenson’s approach to work and life. “Leo taught me things that changed the fabric of my life,” says Jorgenson. “He said things like, ‘If you’re going to do something, do it with enthusiasm or don’t do it at all,’ and, ‘Walk with your head up, but don’t be too proud to pick up trash at your feet.'”
