Most career tools come out when panic sets in. The job listing closes in three days. The performance review is tomorrow. The recruiter wants an updated resume by end of week. ViaSkill is betting there is a better way: capture the proof while you are doing the work, then use Viaster, its voice-based AI Interview Coach, to practice telling that story under pressure.
The proactive career development platform launched with a different premise than most tools in the space. Instead of waiting for someone to start a job search, ViaSkill asks users to document wins and projects on a weekly or daily basis through a feature called Skill Snapshot. Those entries build a continuous record of accomplishments that can be repurposed for a promotion conversation, a job application, or a self-evaluation. The difference is what happens next: ViaSkill uses that tracked work as grounding for Viaster, so interview practice and coaching reflect what the user has actually done, not generic prompts.
“Most tools are transactional,” said Grace Cupat, Founder and CEO of ViaSkill. “ViaSkill is designed as a Career Operating System, so you capture proof continuously and can practice communicating it before the high-stakes moment arrives.”
More Than a Resume Builder
ViaSkill starts with a simple input: users capture weekly or daily wins in Skill Snapshot, which then feed into the Project Tracker. The Project Tracker turns those entries into a structured record of projects, achievements, and skills. From that foundation, users can generate proof-based resumes, export skill summaries for performance reviews, or create role-based Career Websites. Each Career Website is a personalized page built from tracked work and tailored to a specific role or direction, so the narrative stays focused and can evolve over time as new work is added.
ViaSkill also includes a coaching layer built for communication practice, not just content generation. In Coach mode, users can have voice conversations about role clarity, positioning, negotiation, or career transitions. In Interviewer mode, Viaster runs mock interviews and prompts users to give specific, evidence-backed answers based on their work history. The goal is to help users practice explaining what they have done with clarity and credibility.

Viaster: An Interview Coach Grounded in Real Work
Viaster is ViaSkill’s AI Interview Coach, designed for users who want interview practice anchored to their actual projects. Unlike mock interview tools that rely on generic questions and generic sample answers, Viaster uses the user’s Skill Snapshot entries and Project Tracker history as the context for practice. That grounding allows Viaster to simulate questions that match the user’s real scope, then coach for stronger structure, clearer examples, and more concrete evidence.
Users can run an interview simulation that behaves like an interviewer, asking role-relevant questions and probing for specifics. They can also switch into coaching mode to refine a story, tighten a response, or practice delivery. Voice is central to the experience, so users can rehearse speaking out loud, which better mirrors real interview conditions.
An optional feature called Skill Chat can be enabled on individual Career Websites, allowing recruiters and hiring teams to interact with a candidate’s skills through a guided chat experience. It is intended to support skills-based evaluation by helping teams explore relevant projects and skills in a structured way, while keeping the user in control of what is shared.
Building Proactive Momentum
ViaSkill has secured USPTO trademark registrations for its wordmark and icon, participated in Pegasus (now called 1752vc) Ignite and a GTM Accelerator, and received an ElevenLabs grant to support voice production for product videos and user-facing experiences.

The platform serves employed professionals preparing for reviews and promotions, job seekers organizing applications, early-career workers building credibility, and career changers translating past projects into new positioning. The AI-powered career coaching tools are designed to support all of those moments without requiring users to start from scratch each time.
Looking ahead, ViaSkill plans to expand its AI Career Crew with more specialized guidance and grow adoption of role-based Career Websites. Longer term, the company aims to support skills-based matching that connects opportunities to demonstrated achievements, and to embed micro-learning that helps users close skill gaps based on tracked work.
For now, the career operating system is focused on a simple shift: making career growth something you document along the way, not something you scramble to reconstruct when the clock is already ticking. That shift also changes interview prep, because practice can start from a living record of work instead of a rushed reconstruction.
